More signs of spring
Today is the first day of the season that we have seen tree swallows. Have seen a bluebird here and there before but thhey are much more visible in the yard today. They have all been flying around checking out all the nesting boxes trying to find one that suits them. Here a bluebirds sits on our split rail fence.

We have had both tree swallows and blue birds checking out nesting boxes last weekend. The tree swallows are really busy today. I usually pair the boxes otherwise we wouldn't have any bluebirds.
I actually saw a female and male bluebird at the inlaws the other morning. They are nesting right outside their kitchen window! That was a cool site!
